More Leopard Gecko Eggs

Scratch that... I'm now just expecting crested gecko eggs within a week or so.

One of my other SHTCTB's laid 1 egg. She laid the other egg in her tub last week. It didn't make it. But this one looks promising.

SHTCTB Leopard Gecko Eggs

So, I had my second clutch of SHTCTB eggs from my girl from VMS. So far they look good, but they're only a few days old. I'll keep in touch about their progress. I'm not sure if I mentioned, but her first clutch went bad.

I'm still waiting on the other females to lay. I have one other tangerine leopard gecko who has laid a few clutches, but all dehydrated before I could get them.

I still have 4 available leopard geckos from the 2007 season. They're getting big and growing prettier each day.

I have had inquires about a few of them, but nothing permanent yet, so all are considered available.

Things to Think About Before Breeding Reptiles

So, lately, I've been getting more and more "I want to breed my leopard gecko" questions. I'm about sick of them, honestly.

These people aren't prepared, and most of them are brand new to the world of reptiles. They're thinking way to far ahead of themselves, and yet most of themtend to want to breed as soon as their new geckos are able to.

So, anyway, I created this little piece that those who think they want to breed reptiles, should check out. Here

Crested Gecko Eggs

We have found our very first of all time clutch of crested gecko eggs. Unfortunately, they were not fertile. But, it gives us hope that we will have crested gecko hatchlings in the near future.

Also, an update on the first clutch of leopard gecko eggs. They were dudes. Sweating from the indise out. But, again, hope for the current breeding season. We should have SHTCTBs, Tangerines, Blazing Blizzards, Tremper albinos, and maybe a few Bell albinos and hets.

I currently have 5, maybe 6, gravid females, one of which has started her season.

Update Leopard Gecko Hatchling

The temp-sexed Tremper albino possible het blazing blizzard is now 7.2 grams.
She's going to shed soon. I have trouble gettin a good picture of her. My screen has to be at an angle to see her true colors.

Watch for hatchling leopard geckos!

Well, it appears as though, I will be investing in a new incubator next year. No, my current one did not die on me, but it's full... I still expect a few more eggs, but I only have room for say one more. I'm hoping to have a few hatch before my females lay again, as that would create room in the incubator.

Also, it appears as though I will not be getting the Mack snow females, as the breeder has yet to reply to my email about a total price for the two Mack snow females and the male crested gecko... They still appear to be available, but I do not want to hound the man. Three emails, should be enough... Or so I thought... Ha... I'll find better... I hope... :-/

Eggs

Well, as of today I have added 2 more eggs in the incubator. I'm hoping for some APTORs, but we'll see as the het APTOR female was accidently paired with both the blazing blizzard and the het APTOR male. Somehow I mixed up my cagings and, also, paired a blazing female with the het APTOR male for a few days, so we're really in for a surprise this season.
