My First Leopard Geckos

When I was 16, I received my first leopard gecko. When all of my friends wanted cars and big items, I just wanted a reptile. She was about 6-9 months old when I got her.

This is a picture of her from November 2010. She is going into shed, so she looks a little dull.

This is Anubis, a Tremper albino. I am his third home. The original owner wanted to breed him, but was unsuccessful, and the second owner also wanted to breed. Anubis didn't want any of their females, and as soon as I got him home, he mated with Banon, who eventually laid fertile eggs that I incubated and hatched. Anubis was about 2 or 3 years old when I got him.

SHTCTB Leopard Gecko Eggs

So, I had my second clutch of SHTCTB eggs from my girl from VMS. So far they look good, but they're only a few days old. I'll keep in touch about their progress. I'm not sure if I mentioned, but her first clutch went bad.

I'm still waiting on the other females to lay. I have one other tangerine leopard gecko who has laid a few clutches, but all dehydrated before I could get them.

I still have 4 available leopard geckos from the 2007 season. They're getting big and growing prettier each day.

I have had inquires about a few of them, but nothing permanent yet, so all are considered available.

Het RAPTOR Male Leopard Gecko

So, I've added a Het RAPTOR male to my more pressing list of breeders to purchase. I would prefer an APTOR Het Raptor or a Hybino Het RAPTOR. We'll see what comes out way.

I'm currently, letting my Hybino breed with my Het APTOR and one of my SHTCTBs, but to no avail. Both females still appear ovulating and not gravid. I will continue to allow the male to attempt mating with the females, but with given time, we'll see what happens.

Leopard Gecko Hatchling

The little Tremper albino hatchling from the other day.



The new temp sexed hatchling of today. The leopard gecko hatchling hatched at 1.8 grams. This is the sibling of the above hatchling.

Both gecko hatchlings will be available once they have reached 15 grams.

Rain

Well, rainwaters that is... Las Vegas Rainwaters... I'm looking at investing some money in a small breeding group of Rainwaters. Preferrable tangerine jungles. But, well see what I bring in. It's just nice to add something different besides the average, or above average, Tremper strain albino leopard gecko.

I'm, also, debating on purchasing a Mack Snow het Bell male, and a few nice bell albino females. But, that project may have to go on the back burner for now. I'm thinking of moving in the rainwaters first.

I've never really been a fan of the rainwater strain, but lately I've seen a few nice individuals that have changed my mind completely. I think I may definately have to get my hands on a few...
